Faqua Corn Ritual + Full Moon Pipe Ceremony

Honoring the full moon each month by gathering to make our sacred Faqua beverage for the following Sunday's Womxn’s temazcal + full moon chanupa / obsidian pipe ceremony.

Faqua es una chicha de maiz / A sacred fermented corn beverage with an indigenous lineage from Columbia. This sacred ceremony was passed from Abuela Carmen to Nana Xochiketzalli and now it will be a monthly offering to the community.

We will gather at 6:00pm around a fire (outdoors if the weather is dry or indoors around the stove) to offer songs, tobacco, and prayers as we make our chicha de maiz.
