9 Moons Cosmic Rebirthing Series focus is healing oneself thru shadow work and soul retrieval. To step into leadership and onto the path of a healer, one must first heal themselves by confronting their yayauki Tezcatlipoca. At 9 moons the main rituals of Curanderismo are taught during each full moon ceremony, yet the classes are designed to do these healings only on oneself.

In the mentorship & apprenticeship circles you go deeper into the different healing modalities of Curanderismo, while learning from 10 “guest teachers” and practicing the different healing rituals on one another.

Each class is designed to learn new modalities of healing in Curanderismo or go deeper into ones introduced during 9 moons. Everyone will learn skills in leadership and practice holding platicas; which are one of the foundations of this ancestral healing work. To conclude, you are asked to lead a full moon ritual (online for the mentorship & in person for the apprenticeship) to complete your initiation and rites of passage as a healer stepping onto the path.

The Curanderismo mentorship is an intensive school and requires much time, discipline, and dedication. Besides the 3 hr class once a month, there is a book/reading every month, a homework assignment, and reflective prompts. This 2 year study is not for someone who is currently in school with a full workload. The 1st two hours of the zoom class is very interactive as well, thus it requires to be at home and in a space one can focus.

This work requires you are ready to face yourself in the mirror, it's essential to our work ahead! This work teaches you to look beyond yourself and take accountability for your own actions & emotions. It requires letting go of resentment and blaming others, and learning everything that happens has a teaching that can support us in our growth. This work teaches eagle eye perception which is foundational in a healers path.

During the 15 months of guided classes by Nana Xochiketzalli you can learn to develope your natural dones/gifts and learn to move into the hallow bone state.

Online Mentorship

2 Year Mentorship & Commitment

We meet each month online for a 3+ hour teaching circle for 15 moons + 8 months of student led 45min circles & the last month a graduation.

*Attendance for these monthly circles are required & you must show up. There are no recordings, as one of the main teachings in this work is discipline, dedication, & time.

The online mentorship requires an exchange of not only energy and time, but as well monetary. Reciprocity is important and honors the teachers & original ways. The exchange required in this “school” is both time and a monthly donation.

You are asked to come in good will, respect, and discipline + a willingness to learn is needed. Sometime during or at the end of the mentorship, you may be asked to lead an online 9 Moons full moon circle.

Local Apprenticeship

2 Year Apprenticeship & Commitment

(Unfortunately, currently the apprenticeship is not being offered, instead only the online mentorship.)

We meet each month in the tipi for a 5 hour teaching circle for 20 moons.

*Attendance for these monthly circles are required & you must show up. There will be no recordings, as one of the main teachings in this work is discipline, dedication, & time.

Besides your monthly commitment of teaching circles, you are also asked to participate with the following below.

+ Help with set up & cleanup of Ceremonies or Classes

+ Attend monthly the monthly sweats, showing up early to help set up & staying late to help clean up

+ Attend the 4 quarterly Mayan fire ceremonies + come early & stay late to support

+ Help organization/hosting of special events

+ Assist for 9 months in the live 9 moon series as a Fire Keeper

With this specific circle, its required you live in Humboldt county and can dedicate 2 years of time for this deep apprenticeship. This traditional apprenticeship is free & does not require money, yet you cannot simply just register or apply.

In Curanderismo an exchange is important and honors the teachers & original ways. The main exchange required in this “school” is time. Besides just time, good will, respect, and a willingness to learn. You will be asked to lead a full moon ceremony at the end of your apprenticeship and commit to working with Xochiketzalli offering limpias during Community Limpia Clinics.
